Regarding the red light: It isn't mounted on the outside of the Axxess box. On one of the sides (can't remember which), there is a little square cutout that the light shines through when it's on. Just FYI.

I have no issues with illumination day or night. I have no regrets.... also the mudflap girl makes it different.

I put everything in and then try and do the steps. I guess I should leave everything open and do it. Thanks I wasn't sure where to look for the blinking led.

Yeah, I had everything plugged into everything else, but still outside the dash when I installed/configured. I've learned my lesson too many times on completely installing something before fully testing. Nothing worse. Lol.

Gauges have nothing to do with it. The stock gauges don't have to be gone- that was just something else Alpine decided to add to their show car.
