Does anyone regret getting the Metra kit ?

I want to get a AVIC-Z120BT, but I've heard the LCD screen on the metra kit is too dim. Anyone regret getting the Metra kit ?

I'm thinking of getting it. Are there any others out there?

I think it's too dim also at night. I like to keep all the lights as low as possible. I click it 1 notch to get the door panels to just light up. But the Metra LCD is just not viewable at night with it so dim. The only color I got to be viewable is a green like color. Doesn't match, but doesn't not match too badly. It at least is viewable. All in all I am happy for the kit. My Kenwood DNX9960 is better than the stock setup.

Scosche will be releasing a double din kit at the end of January or early February.

Just got mine in and a bit of a pain, but worth it for back-up cam and proper adjustment/screen. I don't give a shit about nav or watching movies.

That Scosche kit looks nice, AND expensive. Also, I kind of like my factory gauges...

scosche kit does look nice. I wonder if metra has anything up its sleeves since scosche has this.
