Would this work well for the LS7 blackouts on the front and back?
If so, Ill do it this weekend, im just curious if it holds up to hand washes or will it peel off?

I wonder if it would work like a spray on peel of bra for long trips.

Can I ask how'd you tape off the tire where it meets the rim? Did you take the tires off the rims? And how long did each tire take, total?

I took the front bead of the rim and painted mine but I have my own tire machine. You can get a pack of notecards and stuff them between the rim and tire and you will be fine. I took the bead off because I wanted to make sure I got the edge of my rims. Im sure if you pulled the rims off and swung by a tire shop they would pop the front bead for not much coin. The do your painting and spray a TON of soapy water at the rim/tire area where they meet and fill them with air. Just be careful as I have witnessed somebody getting their finger pinched between the rim/tire.

I'm anxious to see C586's pics.

I just wanted to say that I'm not trying to steal your thunder, if it wasn't for your thread I never would have done this. I'm gonna finish mine today. If it wasn't for 2 jack failures, I'd have been done by now.

So this will last right? I ordered a heritage grille last week and want to paint it satin black. I was going to just use spray paint, but then I would need to sand it down, primer it and then paint it. This stuff seems easier to do. Would it work on the heritage grille, and would it last?

It seems like it will last so far. The best part is that its 100% reversible. C586 mentioned earlier that it peels off like latex. SO it it does get damaged, just peel it off and do it again.

For me its a temporary solution until this fall when I get new tires and a powder coat.
