Sorry, Mike reaches out to those on here who have been distinguished in their discussions about the Camaro. No one sucks up to him other than expressions of gratitude. Even then that is somewhat subjective.

Regardless, it is a nice (and very special) thing he does. It is a real example of someone who takes great pride in the work, he and his fellow employees take in the work they do.

Let's be serious here for a brief moment. These folks work damn hard at a job that can be a real challenge over the long haul. The whole team at Oshawa, has developed a well earned reputation as one of the best auto assembly plants in the world.

They have been way up there, in terms of assembly quality for years.

To me the are a great example of how, they are able to step up their game in a highly competitve auto market place?

My dealer is over 60 miles away so i keep playing phone tag and such on getting me the date of build :(
Look down on the frame rail in the engine bay on the right side of the engine. There is a sticker with a date that is within a day or 2 of the build date, sometimes the same day.

Or order the vintage package from GM vintage services.

They aren't build sheets, they are referred to as lithos.

If you show your pride about your car on here and are supportive of other members (IE don't pick fights and mock others) and help everyone out, Mike will know. Keep in mind the guy does this out of his own money, as a thanks to selected people on here for buying a camaro and for their contribution(s) to forums. To receive a litho puts you into a very elite group. Not everyone can recieve one as it wouldnt make it as special. Pleading, begging, bribing will not help your case in getting a litho. Just my advice to all.

As I've always said, Mike you rock!!

Pretty sure it is his own schedule of when to look into doing something like this. So don't hold your breath

You know what was REALLY cool, too? When Mike was presented with his very own 5th gen at last year's BBOMG, signed by a whole slew of 5th gen owners/fans!

That is really awesome that Mike and the entire build team take the time to send these to owners. Just goes to show you how very special these cars are, even to the people that build them for us day in and day out. This just adds to the special feeling these cars give us owners. I seen one of these in person from a guy not far from where I live that got one and let me tell you, they are really neat. Something to be treasured for sure. Hopefully one day I will have one to display on my wall as well.

I think someone who takes the time and expense to give out such a coveted item should be thanked more often. We need more members to step up and assist the forum even if it is just answering a question or posting a vid of an install. Though this help should come from the heart not the tit for tat mentallity.
