start by laminating them, to protect them, it doesn't cost much, then you can decide what you want to do later. That's what I did.

Get a large format frame, like for a poster. Arrange all your documentation on acid-free backing (get it at the craft store). Assemble and hang on the garage wall.

I think it would be a good idea to make a digital copy first, then mount them....

I was able to get the window sticker off with all the 'sticky' part intact...so I put a peice of saran wrap over the top of the window sticker so I didn't have to cut off the sticky part or worry about tearing the sticker trying to get the sticky part of.

As luck would have it...it was the last peice of saran wrap I had, so the roll was empty. I rolled up the window sticker, build sheet, etc, and put them all inside the empty roll(it's hard cardboard that won't bend or flex). They're now buried safely away inside my desk (as I continue to rip stock parts off the car... )

My dealer laminated all my docs for me (build sheet, window sticker etc). He also gave me the original workbench printout with all their notes scribbled on it, and other little cards that where attached to keys and other Docs with my VIN and other information but I'm not even sure what they're for. But I got em'.

Documentation these days will never be as valuable as docs on a First Gen, However, It is still cool to keep them. I am not a big fan of lamination because you have changed originality to your docs. If you plan on displaying them in your garage, office etc..... acid free framing w/ UV glass is the ticket but it is costly. If you do not plan on displaying them, simply place them in a folder (preferably between 2 pieces of acid free paper) in a dark dry place and they will be fine.

Window Sticker

To keep the window sticker (actually the "gummed" edges) from sticking to everything, rub baby powder over it. Nothing sticks to it.
