being a former GM guy, i still have plenty of Firebird and Camaro driving friends (i had a Firebird and Camaro). The main reason I registered to this site was to LEARN. Unfortunately, theres so much BS on here, i find myself having to correct nonsense the majority of the time...rarely do i have the opportunity to post in a thread that is sensible.

back to what i was saying though...unlike all you "my camaro is the fastest thing ever built and can outrun all mustangs no matter what", i know better. im not stupid...i know a stock camaro is fast and just like any other car can be made to go faster. Im here to know what my competition is up to....what does the AVERAGE guy on the street run? sure there is one or two guys running a mid 12 in a stock 6sp manual car. cool. i wont call you a liar. but out of 10 bone stock manual tranny cars, what will Average Joe run?
that way unlike most of you who just assume your car is faster than a mustang, i go armed with information. when a camaro guy says 'I have xx, xx, xx and xx" i know what exactly im up against.

believe it or not DARKNESS, im not a troll. im here to help you guys like sax, and educate you guys when you make retarded statements that are untrue about the mustang. because there are lots of people on here who dont know any better and will take it as the truth. its like if some knucklehead posts on my mustang forum some crap about a camaro that we know isnt true, we will call the bs. just because the camaro isnt our car of choice doesnt mean we dont respect it.

theres nothing wrong with being proud of your car...but you dont have to be an ass about it.

Pretty sure WAY more people agreed with me and even a simple Google search will turn up hard facts that you are dead wrong.

And nothing about performance but then you started babbling like you were some kind of missionary, like I already said. it just sounds silly, probably because it is.

And who cares how fast my car is? Honest answer is I wont know until I get it to the track. I had a very fast nitrous car before this, if I really wanted another fast car I simply would not have bought this car. I would have taken my 29k and built a 10 second car on another platform.

But the best part, fast enough to beat every Mustang that I've encountered Though I'm sure that will change if a new V6 or 5.0 pulls up, in which case I wont even bother.

And how could you possible know that you know more about cars than me? LOL! You dont know me at all dude! Are you a certified tech or something? because if not I may know just as much.

Camaro's have been out for 2 years, that 'retro' design of the Mustang is in it's 6th year. The Camaro design is still new compared to the Mustang, in a few years people won't think twice when they see a Camaro on the road. Especially at the pace they're selling.

was gonna drive my SS but wife's car was in the way so I drove my GT500 today....on the freeway, a yellow SS stayed in my blind-side and I can see him checking out my ride (2011 GT500 comes with small blind-side mirror inside the each side mirror)....nah, he wasn't jealous, he was just admiring another musclecar like I was admiring his Heritage grill. Yes, I have to admit, I don't have the mind-reading power that the OP has and I can't read the other driver's mind to know that he was jealous because he was looking at my car. OR I refuse to assume that because a driver of another car who pays my car a compliment by looking at it more than once, is jealous of my car and regrets being in his car.
