You know I have an 83 Camaro, and even THAT gets beat up while in a parking lot. Was at school one day and came out and there was a basketball size dent on the front side panel near my door/part of my door. I mean how the heck does that even happen in a parking lot?
People are such jerks and they don't care.

My dad used to have two corvettes in the 80s. He'd park them a football field length's away and people would still go park by him.

I'm afraid that a NEW car, one that everyone will be jealous of, will attract all the jerks and idiots who just like to be mean.

Side question, if I were to get the bumblebee stripes, should I get the dealer ones or some other company's? Would they be cheaper/more accurate? Hard to apply?

Someone on here mentioned something about getting a car 3M'd. I don't know what that means, but I'm guessing some sort of thick laminate coating that protects your car from stuff? (not basketball sized dents though right?).

I just do everything I can to make sure it doesn't happen and then realize I can't control other people and go on with my life.

quite simple, when dealing with kids... it's easy... they like to brag... once they brag you'll know who they are, then their parents get the bill

Yep...you can only control so much!

As far as stripes go...if you want bumblebee stripes you'll have to go aftermarket as the factory/dealer stripes are not the same as seen on bumblebee.

Average cost that I have seen posted...$800 to $1500.

These days I just assume that sooner or later some idiot is going to either deliberately or innocently do something to the stuff that means something to me.

And when it happens I know I'll be angry and slightly sick to my stomach but its out of my control....
