it'll show up in their records of how many times its been in for a recall and all the problems it has within such short period of time and miles on the ODD.

Wish you all the best.

I don't believe you. I guess we will see whenever you update this thread. Maybe I'm wrong. I'd be happy if I'm wrong and you get a new car out of the deal, but wow. This dealer just sounds sooo terrible that it is unbelievable. Even reading some of your previous posts with what they have done to the car, it's just mindboggling. I just don't see it. And I will never believe that a dealer told you to call the BBB. No way. Sorry man, just too fishy for me. Something isn't adding up.

Did we ever get clarification if this is even a Chevy dealer?? Sorry if I missed that somewhere...And i agree, even if it was a trade, or bought from out of state, it would (or should) have been trailered, not driven.

Something here isn't adding up, I'm not suggesting that the OP isn't being honest but perhaps he hasn't been given all the facts about the car...intentionally or unintentionally.

My wife's Cruze had 116 miles when we picked it up. Remember the shipping company GM was dealing with was holding cars due to contract crap. Dealers were basically forced to go pick up their inventory from holding areas. That or run out of inventory and customers.

It sucks your having these problems. Hope it gets settled.

You can believe what you want. It's not your problem its mines.

Their is no reason for me to come on here and make this shit up.
I am pissed I have had it with this car.

It had 200 miles cause they drove it from another dealer. I live in Ohio and they got it from Michigan. I would appreciate if people like you quit jacking the thread calling me a liar.

YES it is a chevy dealer yes I am the first owner. I do not need anymore crap. I hope they buy back this piece of junk and I can get on with my life. i do not have time for this everyday.

I can't deal with service and talking on the phone for hours at a time. I'm done.

Like I said I have an 08 better which has never been into service once.

Oh and YES the camaro is dealer stock I didn't change a thing. Hardly even drove it.

Sounds like your car may of potentially been beat the hell out of on that "200mi" trip... especially if your tranny went out....

Also I knew a guy back in the US who had bought this "new" truck from a dealer and he took it in one day because his engine light was flashing to another dealer to get it fixed under warranty... ended up being the car had been tuned and had no warranty... The dealer that had originally sold it to him had no idea about it either.

I believe the OP.

Just because it's new does not necessarily mean it's always going to be perfect. One bad electric solenoid or chip in the ECU, or one bad gear in the transmission could cause a whole host of problems. While engineering and manufacturing standards and practices have gotten extremely efficient over the years, one bad part will still slip through the cracks from time to time. It happens.

The problem is it happens so rarely, that people get complacent thinking that everything new has to be perfect all the time and when someone genuinely has a problem these same people automatically assume that there is "more to the story" or that they are "making things up", or even in one case already itt, they go so far as to call someone an outright liar. It's a shame really. Guy has problems, comes here to vent a little and ask questions to get help with his problem, and ends up getting called a liar.

Also other dealers SHOULD be able to look at your car if it is UNDER WARRANTY... It just seems that if other dealers are telling you to go back to your original dealer it is because the car has no warranty.

I believe Everyone believes the OP that his car is problematic. I think what people are having a hard time believing is that the dealer pretty much told the OP to get lost and fix the problem himself even though the OP has a warranty... And also about the dealer saying call the BBB.

OP: just because the car is "new" doesn't mean it has not been tuned... Like I mentioned above.. Knew a guy who had a tuned car and was giving him a bunch of problems.. The dealer who initially sold him the car under the pretense of it being new didn't even know about it.... Dealers DO have shady practices... Knew of a big dealer in my area who would paint the bottoms of used cars black so that you couldn't see the oil leaks... After a few weeks or so the inevitable would happen and it'd start leaking and you'd have to bring it in and have them fix it.
