Ah, I trust you scotty Maybe it's a spoof email or something? What should I say?
Your dealer faked the e-mail..He is breaking the law in doing so... This is negligible action and I would definitely call GM about this one.. gtahvit, this dealer is more than an idiot. He is a thief and a crook and creating a forgery by e-mail is against the law..

The unfortunate part about this is that this kid is future consumer and he has allready refered to his first major purchase experience as an 'Ordeal'.

Don't let your sorry dealer jade you Dect. There are plenty of others who don't act like this.

I have hard nothing in regards to CGM being CANCELLED and I have my ear to the ground on ALL things Chevrolet, especially the Camaro which I inted to own myself in CGM. The dealer could just as easily sell the car to his next customer down the list and let you wait for CGM guys so the argument he is trying to push the car now for a buck today could be incorrect. I dont know any dealers who have allocation left, Im sure there are some out there but in my neck o the woods we are sold, sold and sold! I will report back if anything changes but I think your dealer is misinformed and has constrained confused with cancelled.

See, I learned this lesson early in school. It doesn't matter if you put down the right answer every time, you still have to explain how you got that answer for it to be considered correct. Don't ask how many times that bit me in the a$$ in my math and science classes...

Sure, scotty called first.

But TeamLynn gave a reasonable answer as to why th OP's dealer may not have been outright lying. Which is Cool.

No disrespect to Scotty.
