Looking at the site further (their forums, specifically) it looks like they are coming out with a new fob at the end of the year. Trunk release and auto start to be included. Hello Christmas Gift.

I sent an email to my local installer shop to confirm that they'd be comfortable doing the install. I need to know what to expect from their side of the deal. If not, I'll drive several hours to the Cartoys store in Denver to have it done. I just want to make sure it looks totally factory. I don't want any mistakes. I know you guys all understand where I'm coming from.

**edit** You can get all of the goodies - Main system, Window Unit, and DB Interface) for 388.92. That's with getting the DB interface from Amazon, which was the best price I saw. If you can get installation at a reasonable rate, it would be a nice, low cost upgrade.

Corvette has a push button start; anyone know how the sterring gets unlocked or is it disabled by default (not installed)?

I don't understand your point; Corvettes have had these for several years now so why not the Camaro?

I think it's cool and all, but knowing me I would be constantly worry whether or not the door locked when I walked away. What if you hang your keys nearby where the car is, then the doors will not lock so could someone get in, start the car and drive off leaving the key behind, or do you have to have the key card with you at all times?

this looks pretty cool! i miss these features in my lexus. as for others who questioned earlier about the redundancy of having to put a key in, and then press the start button - many others do this including bmw, where you had to slide in the smart key and then press the start button.

Love it! + I also love that our car is the poster child for their site:

i foresee 2 problems for me
- My car is literally outside my bedroom window
- their promo vid shows it not really a push to start but rather a push, hold and release to start :/ womp womp
