My girlfriend tried telling me "If you get the new Camaro you're gonna have to trade in your old one." I laughed at her and told her that I'm getting a few more. Gonna try to get every generation, but it'll be tough to buy a 1st and 2nd Gen at a decent price.

Yeah I'd love to show up at a show and just start unloading trailer after trailer of Camaros. Line em' up side by side by side by side by side...LOL You'd have nearly one for each day of the week. We'll if you hear anyone getting rid of a 4th Gen Z or SS let me know. But it has to be a manual. I get too bored driving an automatic, plus it's a sports car. It's not suposed to be an automatic.

Lol don't know too many people selling their Camaros. Then again, I hang out with alot of people that drive either pieces of crap or ricers, same thing. It just makes me top dog of the crowd.

Yeah most people where I'm originally from either drive POS or some sort of truck. But those who "think" they have a fast car drive mustangs. I just need a 4th Gen to put a little money in (about 5 grand) and wax all ass that gets in my way...LOL

I've been messin around online. I miss my firebird so I'm thinkin about a 98-02 TA with the WS6. I found a bunch at decent prices. I think that's what I'm gonna go with for the comuter car.

Perfect Timing

Ha I just (just) got here for a 15 monther in beautiful Baghdad. That puts me back in the states in oh i dunno..........January 2009 That is unless this thing ends early and we all go home

Anyway i sold my truck before i came (better than letting it rot for 15 months in the Pacific NW.... think mold and mildew) so i will need a ride in January 2009 unless we win the lotto of the 18 month deployment. gonna try and get hooked up with a reputible dealer this summer and see if i can arrange to have one waiting on me when i get back.

Now if i can just get this plan to work.

Welcome to the boards GreySteele. This starts my sixth month in theater. I just got some good news today though. We we're expecting to be here until sometime between June and Nov of next year, but we just heard March or April of next year. I'm still thinkin about extending. I need to save up a little more cash. I'm hopin to pay cash for my Camaro and I'm not goin cheap on it either...

Hey thanks Jay. I really apprecaite that. We'd love to have the support of everyone, unfortunatelly that's not up to us. But those who voice their support, well, that's all we ask for. Wether you support the war or not, please support the troops.

Thanks again Jay,
-Dunk-

No Problem... I have been out east and I know what its like out there. But your right about the war... As a Canadian, I don't think I know how I feel about the war, mainly because... well its something that isn't talked about a lot up here and its something I don't feel I can say is wrong or not.

But, the border is only 20 minutes away... and Ive done my fair share of travel to the states.... you definitely feel the patriotism people have in the states for their country compared to us Canadians... our patriotism lies in beer and Hockey! Eh!

Putting all joking aside tho I feel the same as you... whether you support the war or not.... support the troops and let them know when ever you can.

well thats my rant!

Amen brother! Don't forget to support the contractors out here too! Haha jus kidding, I'm not going to steal anyone's luster. My time has done and gone since I've been on active duty even though I've only been out for 10 months! Iraq isn't really a bad place though, just sucks being away from loved ones and it takes alot for these guys especially because they are gone for at least 15 months and then catch a break at home for 12 months and then head back for another 15, it's crazy what you all are put up to for what little you get paid.

On another note, Jay how's Vancouver man? I've only been to Canada once and that was Niagara Falls, the Canadian side. haha I heard it's a really fun city though and I have a friend out in Langley, outside of Vancouver.
