Well seeing how its the first tank of gas to run through the engine...it better be 93...or else they gonna extend my powertrain warranty for free. I will still treat the first 1000 miles as break in miles and i expect my dealer to honor that idea...no matter what car i buy.

What does Premium gas matter for your powertrain warranty on the LS3? It's not a high compression engine and does not require high octane fuel. Your post makes no sense.

+1...it's not going to hurt the engine...it just won't deliver optimum performance. If you're worried about the break-in period, I'd be more concerned with the oil than the fuel, personally...

i dont care if it hurts the car or not...all i know if im gonna be putting in premium so the dealer better put premium in for my first tank...cuz it is reccomended...but if he doesnt its not the end of the world just a principle thing
