Ok SO I wedged a wooden block between my Sub box and the rear shelf and boy is she tight! ;] No more rattle though, or very very little.

Of course it's a temp fix until I pull out the rear panels again.

My 2010 does rattles SO bad. I tried the bungie cord Idea because I didn't want to drill holes in anything if possible. It's 95% better. There's some rattle once you crank the bass past 8-9 and the volume over 20, but that's way louder than I listen to my music. I'd recommend bungie cord before drilling! lots of places to hook them to in the trunk as well.

Basically the bungie cord idea is trying to "pull the metal together" so it's tighter and doesn't rattle. It only takes me 30 minutes to get to the back speakers and take the panels apart and I just put some foam weather stripping under the speakers and all is good.

Seriously it's so loud with all the panels off, like it can breathe again.

Is it better to just remove the rear speakers then?

I'm bringing this thread back because it had good answers for me and now I have some for someone else. I screwed 4 screws into each speaker, it definitely helped but didn't even get close to solving the issue. I then put 3/8th inch foam stripping at the rear window where the brake light is, that also helped but still didn't fix it all the way. I realized that some of the rattle was actually coming from the trunk (the part that you open). The carpet type stuff that is bolted down by plastic bolts was rattling, I pressed on it very hard in different places on the area around the trunk latch. I found the area that eliminated the rattle and I put 2 screws in it. It looks ghetto as all hell, but who's really gonna see it?
Those things completely fixed my problem and it only took a little under an hour, hope this helps someone.

Good advice. I put 2 layers of dynamat behind the carpet of the lid with to solve this issue.

What size dynamat did you use? I'm thinking of doing it so it doesn't look so bad

I use B-Quiet not dynamat but its easier to say dynamat haha. Its a cheaper version of it just google it. I just buy the cheapest and thinest stuff and keep layering it until no more rattles i had 2 layers in there.

I tried this last night I put 6 screws in each speaker only helped a little. But I also have two 10" kicker subs so that's probably why.
