with a turbo what you are saying does make sense...with a supercharger it will only spin according to the belt spinning it against its pulley. A centrifugal is the most efficient supercharger. fact. I do understand that you are making the engine more efficient. If we all just step back from this for a minute...and look at the big picture. I think the lack of proof is answering my question. I think I will buy a set of JBA catless midpipes from Ted and rock it on out with other mods.

Even if you do only gain 10RWHP from LT's I think your failing to understand the other benefits. LT's are still a benefit even if you dont want to pulley down to gain your boost back. By running less boost you now have less chance of detonation thus making your combo SAFER! If you choose you could also get more aggressive with the tune now since your running less boost thus making your combo create even more POWER. Everyone worth $.02 knows that in FI you want to make as much power as possible with the least amount of boost as possible. Added power + safer motor = win/win in my book.
BTW alot of people are destroying high flow cats with boosted cars so you might want to think about going catless either way.

He's done his reading along with some friendly advice. Whether he takes it or not is another story.

correct
