i need some info on bbk long tubes
does anyone have the bbk long tubes installed on their v6 and have any dynos with the gains and if the CEL turned on. i was thinking about getting these but i wanted to get as much info as i can on them. i know bbk has an install of them on youtube but i am weary of the 30+ horsepower they said it gave them.

You can look at mine and take a ride if you want. Lol. No dyno though. Will be getting one September 11th, is the plan.
Oh, and yes, you will get a cel. I'm currently trying to work on eliminating it without a tune.

did the butt dyno give you any results? feel is just as important as actual numbers to me. did you get a CEL?

I got the headers shortly after I bought the car. I can't honestly say if the butt dyno felt better. I babied it for the break in period. Like I said, you can ride in mine and see if you can tell the difference between mine and your.

I haven't got a dyno with my BBk headers yet, but I ran a DA corrected time of 13.99 @ 101 MPH in the quarter mile. As far a butt dyno I definitely could feel a difference in power.

With any long tube you will gain an avg of 15-20hp and couple more with no cats. I guess you can expect bigger gain if you want peak numbers.
