Keep the Camaro and get the GT-R too! Easy decision! lol
GT-R is awd (i think), so it'd make a great winter ride.

Fix ur tune so the next guy who buys ur camaro won't have to, then get the GTR.
Maybe if u had a zl1 and was thinking of a GTR. But the SS or a GTR isn't a question I would have to ask myself twice.

A good friend of mine sold his highly modded '04 Cobra for a GTR just a few weeks ago. Truly awesome machine! It's a great performer stock but it's capable of SO much for very few mods.

As Much as I love Chevy and the Camaro, it would always be a goal of mine to drive such a amazing piece of Machinery such as the Nissan GTR or a ZR1. The only 2 cons that I see on the GTR is the Maintenance costs, it is right up there with the Ferraris and Lambos (if not more). Just to get the brake pads and rotors replaced costs around $3000. And Nissan recomends that even if only the front two are worn out, you should change out all four at the same time. They have a very specific and pricey maintenance schedule.

The second con that I see on the GTR are the Paddle shifters! I don't care how much milli seconds it will shave of a track time I would drive real stick shift unless I'm disabled or Im too old! I live in ATL traffic and I still enjoy my stick shift.

What is the price you will pay for the GTR?

Id say keep the camaro. With your power you would probably walk a GTR after 60mph. Some suspension mods and you will be close on handling. What are your best 1/4 mile times? Im sure it will be on par with GTR times.

The maintenance costs would make me back out of a deal with the GTR. If I could swing the costs I'd buy the GTR in a heartbeat.
There are other used cars in a close price range though, Audi R8, Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Mercedes SL63 AMG. Maybe even the SL65 AMG....

I'd say GTR. The Camaro is mass produced, and I feel like a million bucks until I drive through Oshawa and see about 10 of them in 5 mins. I have never seen a GT-R in person, and would just love the chance to take it for a spin.

If you actually have the means to comfortably own this car DO IT !. Not only will you be a one of a kind on the road, if you ever line up against any pony car including an SS you both know they don't have a chance in hell, and we all knows that's a great feeling :-).

And.....what would you do with your Camaro...you sell it and you'll lose 50%. Plus, take a real close look at the GT-R, try to get hold of your emotions....the GT-R is ugly compared to the Camaro. The word ricer better be ok with you, because that's what folks will call you.

I doubt that very much. I like the GTR but I wouldnt give up my Camaro for anything. I would just have to own both.
