I have a 89 Chevy S10 Tahoe 4x4 4.3l V6 that's lifted and has bigger tires on it and it gets about 12 city, 14 freeway if the wind is blowing the same direction I'm driving.
I'm doing a V8 swap on it this summer and it'll actually get a lot better mileage believe it or not with a new edlebrock 350 crate motor dropped in it.
It's my vehicle I drive to school and work with. Because I would never want to park my Camaro at a college parking lot, and the parking lot for work is like a tree sap factory.

My Camaro is already a garage queen (bought in Jan '10 only have 82xx miles), but I've been considering getting rid of my DD for a more fuel efficient one. Current DD is an '06 Grand Cherokee, it's a V6 and gets worse mileage than my SS. Since it's paid off I've been thinking about getting a Sonic.

I bought a DD as well.. Then it got a little out of hand..

So I picked up another DD
1990 K1500 4x4 Stepside Single Cab..
We had the business logos put on it & it turned out pretty good..
I don't have any pics of it.. but it only has 66k original miles..
You could still eat off the motor!!
