Check owners manual for location of the inertia switch make sure it not tripped if the car has one. The two sensors you saw are either for the fuel or airbags i would think.

GM does not use an inertia switch, most likely sounds like a Key or Anit-theft problem

HOLY CRAP BATMAN!!!

Not what I expected. It acted like it was going to die after 1 second, but then picked back up.

What does that mean?

Good deal!!! awesome

But wait, what if it's just dirty perhaps? Could a good shot of MAF cleaner do the trick?

Well I'll go swap it with my other one. I'll check the wiring back to the ECM first though.

Good thing I have a spare sitting right next to it! I shut it off after a few seconds...the garage door was closed. I can't see how it would get dirty on this car, but it was out of the car for awhile...and I did just install it in a new tube. I'll check all of this out and report back.

Thanks bmbbl be! I owe you one at Camaro Fest! Actually, I owe you all one if you can find me there.

You know, I have been telling my teenage son the past couple of months that we are cheating. Whenever I don't know how something goes back on, I go and look at the other car. It makes it sooooooo much easier!

Glad I had a wrong guess and the car did not have to get towed anywhere

The convertible has been undergoing a lot of work lately. See Nathan's thread: Project Cleaning the Clutter in Our Engine Bay

I am very grateful that you guys helped me to solve the issue. I am also very embarrassed to say what the problem was. I installed the new CAI air tube, and it comes in two pieces. The section that contains the MAF sensor was in backwards, so the MAF was turned around backwards. This is going to be a temporary tube, until I can find something that looks nicer.

Anyway, I hope that anyone in the future having the same issue will be able to find this thread.

You guys have been awesome to step forward to help a fellow camaro5 member.
