No. Friends can and usually prefer to drive their own cars. It's extremely rare that I ever *need* to give someone a ride in the back.

I used to struggle with that in college, though. Few of us on the rowing team had cars to drive--I happened to own a 4th gen at the time which I kept in pristine shape. The last thing I wanted to do was let 3 other passengers who had just worked out for 2 hours, with muddy shoes and soaked clothes just hop in my car.... Backseat passengers were the worst. They'd always forget there's actually a release lever, and pull on the seat lever instead...*wham* as the seat banged into straight-up position. They'd get their muddy feet on the sides of the seat or put their shoe up on the console because there was no leg room, etc.

After a couple trips of that I said no more, and paid one of the other guys a bunch of gas money to drive his rig for the rest of the season.

The 2012 has Power Driver and Passenger seat backs...the lower parts are MANUAL

I haven't seen the floorboard of my back seat and can only see the seat cushion on the passenger side from the driver seat.

No.. as far as I'm concerned this car is a 2 seater with a rear storage area.

I use that seat to hold my tie. That way I don't get to work without it.

Why in the hell did you buy a car with a backseat then if you won't let anyone use it????

Sounds like you are a bit anal and a bit of a prick to your friends about it. You should've bought a corvette you'd fit right in

He was in the backseat listening for a noise. He installed a DSS CF driveshaft and had some noise. So he rode with JD to see if he had the same noise. The exhaust shield was rattling and that's all the noise was or in your words because he does what he pleases

After I'm done paying off my Camaro I will be buying a used 09 or 10 Z06 or ZR1
