According to MACE's description, the extra gasket or RTV is not necessary in the plenum spacer intallation process. It seems like just remove the bolts and install the spacer and put the bolts back on. Just wanted to make sure, safety first, lol

i would think it would need rtv or another gasket, i would use another gasket myself.
