Yea, I’m not a big fan either, but I did make the wife a promise my next car she would be able to drive from time to time.
So, help us all out with some good options for the L99.
Judging from the poor dyno showing of the L99, and how close its ¼ mile times are to the LS3, I have a feeling had the LS3 been available with the Auto, it would have had a comfortable advantage in the ¼ over the M6. Thoughts?

Agreed, but GM may have changed the gearing in the Auto to equal it out?

I'd be interested in this cam, but are you sure the dealer wouldn't recognize it? That vid produced a non-stock sound. Maybe they'd know it was cammed? Or did it have an exhaust on it?

I drove mine to a car show and nobody even knew it had a cam..when I told them they said no way!

The cam in the video was running no cats(our exclusive offroad downpipes). The factory mufflers sound fantastic with our offroad pipes installed.

Off road pipes and cam made 400rwhp with stock airbox and no tune. This is a great package that can easily be unbolted and bolted back up...30-45 min max.

So if warranty work time came, even if the car was fully tune per say with the ARH long tubes, the MAF and cam. The ECM with the tune could be swapped and the dealer would never know about it?

I ask cause Im interested in a whole package, including the cam, ARH, probably a catback, and your prototype MAF mayb e awhole intake if you have one completed by the time I get my car.

Yes,You will need an extra ECM that has had a crank variation learn done at some point and time after the new ecm is programmed and installed.

We just made a bit more, not much..Power today with a small tweek to the tune -

We will be testing 1 more item tommorow on this setup and then we will put headers on it....Headers should be going on early next week.

Now that is impressive. Factory tune with ADM downpipes and mild cam and you get just over 400 rwhp. A few years ago with the LS1 and LS2 engines it took more than just two mods to get there. I recall headers, tune, no CATS, and CAI would get you close in the Vettes using factory cam. Looking forward to what additional tweek you do today before you do the headers.

I wouldnt mind having an extra ECM for the tune, you just gain a customer for your cam, ARH long tubes and air intake.

Now just to wait to get my car so I can start modding. lol
