Is there a law that states the size of the exterior mirrors?? I cant find one. It would be no different than using the review mirror on the side of the car. I dont think it would be as bad as people are making it out to be. Having said that I would not pay $800 for them.

Personally, I think they are kinda ugly. The car is beefy and mean looking those mirrors are whimpy and slim.

That's because there isn't one (at least in Arizona, or from the NTSA), I know.. I checked. So unless your state specifically has a random code on it, its not illegal.

Safety wise its going to depend on drivers some drivers use there mirrors, others don't, an yet others do but do so incorrectly. The concept size can be used with difficulty but it is possible.

They look good but I like the factory ones...they work with the car well IMO.

No way is anything illegal. Perhaps to a deep pocket like Government Motors. Guys, half the stuff you all are doing to your cars are not up to vehicle code. Even in California, if you have a side view mirror your legal. How about fitting these mirrors with side view cameras. The technology is all over Japan, and coming to America soon. 600 sound like a very fair price, I would by them for my SS.

Texas law states you only need one mirror on the car we had cars some through with no side mirrors and pass inspection...So if you are in texas do it...i dont know the laws in other states though....just call the dps they will be able to tell you..i wouldnt call gm about it i bet every thing is not legal on this car if its aftermarket....just hit up your dps and see or go to a dealership and talk to a inspector i asked one here and he said the car only need one mirror
