I ordered 5/7/09. They didnt exactly tell me when. I was told earlier July/August. I'll be happy if I get it by then. I havent bothered my dealership for an update since. I dont even have an order number. All I have is the printouts from Autobook.

I ordered May 9th and gave a $500 deposit. They said something about calling me to verify each option when GM "pulls the order". I haven't heard anything yet, should I have heard anything by now? One post in this thread said Ordered on 5/6, went to 1100 on 5/7 order, did they call you or anything to let you know that? I'm really confused how this process works...

I know about tracking with the VIN number and everything but I don't even think I have an order number yet?

I started looking back in Oct. for dealers with actual allocations and not a "list" and were not trying to price gouge with "premium mark-ups" finally pulled the trigger in March. If all goes well and the factory stripes aren't a Pita like allot of people are seeing, should get the car by the first of July.

Dates are in the Sig.

I ordered my blk/blk w/ silver rally stripes, ground effects,polished 20s on 5/14/09 #nkdj6w. Is there any way to check on the status other than the dealer? my dealer told me 6-8 wks. He said they get updates every thur. But also said they have recieved cars w/o paperwork.

I ordered on 5/25. Was told Sept at the latest but I should have it before the end on August. Ordered from the largest dealer in Wisconsin. They've already had 6 Camaros delivered to them.

stripes wont slow you down otherwise it would be in the contraint report.

Per the sig, I ordered May 12th and went to 3000 on the 19th (dealer had allocations). Im hoping to go to 3300 on tuesday, but that may be far fetched depending on the big B that GM will probably be filing tomorrow!

I was told December and i supposedly have an allocation from my dealer :/ I think they are just screwing me around because i wasn't willing to pay over MSRP and are moving me down the ladder as people come in willing to pay over MSRP.

It seems people have been going from 3000 to 3400 and then to produced in about a 4-6 week timeframe. I ordered May 1st and went to 3000 on May 12th. I should get to 3400 in the next 1-2 weeks and then probably produced 1-2 weeks later. So I'd imagine I'll get my car sometime in July. So total time will be about 2-3 months. My dealer had 20 Allocations I think, I was in the lower teens. They've delivered 3-4 cars and have another 6 still in transit and 11 in the system with an order number & status code.

Hey to all my May order buddies.......if you moved to 3000 last week you can check your TPW through the GM customer service number. They just told me mine is the week of June 29th but could be sooner with the increased production this month. I know these have been somewhat unreliable as of late, but I gotta say ordering on May 8th and having a TPW 3 weeks later has me floored. I cant wait for my car now........
