Update: for christmas i got a ipad mini with the otterbox defender case. I decided to mount it in the car but i wanted to make it easy to remove. So I had 2 brackets laying around and came up with this. Looks pretty cool and is easier to use then the ipod touch i had.

U have proof of a BA having a flat response? I have seen what a non BA deck does and know the guy that designed the decks for gm.

OP,
I think you made a pretty good choice on the DSP and components, they seem to compliment each other well based on price/performance. I'm building something very similar, almost to the T. If you install the DSP yourself make sure you've watched the youtube instructional vidoes by JLAudio. If not, make sure your dealer/installer watches the videos as a lot of installers struggle with this.

DSP:
Recommended to splice your factory HU harness for all 4 CH Fronts/Rears and run wire to the DSP. This is where the ******** Non-BA RCA adapter will come in real handy.

Fronts/Tweets: (Adapters recommended)
The factory locations apparently suck and aren't optimal but they work just fine unless your ear has been trained by the Car Audio Gods from Germany. Plenty of threads showing Woofer/Tweeter installs and the C2-650 tweeters should fit without issues.

Rear/Deck:(Adapters recommended)
Pain in the ass. Pain in the ass. Pain in the ass.

Overall, I think you're going to love your system and the way it sounds. Keep us posted with pictures as your install progresses and good luck!

I replaced my factory BA speakers with JL c2650 in the front and JL3.5 in the back - it was clean sounding but no base or mid range in those speakers at all! It sounds like they are made for mostly acoustic music...not a big fan. I am adding some pioneer 6.5 speakers in today and some drivers, so we'll see how that sounds, but IM suprised the JL speakers didnt sound as good as I expected they would

Factory amp still by chance? I have Alpine doors and Kicker rears running though a JL XD400 amp and it has fair bass but not great. In order to get decent bass I had to add a 12" sub and sub amp. Now I have my crossovers on the speaker amp set at 100 and don't really use them for any deep bass at all.
