This is a link to the group I set up this past fall...

Please stop by and share your stories! Mine is gone, too, but I still appreciate the stories and knowing where these cars ended up.

Two things are for sure: in 100yrs, all of our cars will be antiques and we will all be dead.

Enjoy all of it now!

But, as I think back, we have NO idea of what something or group of options will be worth, back in 1970 was looking for my first car, ended up with a 1970 Camaro, BUT local dealer had these TWO orange 1969 Camaro's, looked like no options, just engines with chrome valve covers that were over $6000.00 or could have been $6000 engine option, just too expensive, THEY were, as I look back ZL1's..............
paid $3100.00 for my Camaro, If I could have purchased one (or TWO) of the ZL1's I would not have to worry about retirement.

Pretty sure he is accurate. There were a lot of constraints back then such as CGM color that held up these R6P cars until later in the year.

It's good to see GM Performance Division back under the hoods in 2012

found mine for sale

If anyone is interested. It is bouncing between dealers in WA state. 8050 miles. IOM M6 without sunroof. IO interior. 2SS/RS. Never driven in rain when I traded her with 8039 on the clock.

She went with all build sheets and the window sticker in the trunk in an envelope. I hope its all there when she finds a home. First dealer out there had her certified.

PM me if you want more info.

The sticker in my trunk shows R6M...Is that what everyone other than the R6P cars have or is that different for each car?
