Yeah, it is only needed where the fittings screw into the can. No big deal.

I have driven about 1,000 miles since I installed the catch can a couple of months ago. I emptied it today. I had checked it about a week after installation and the can looked as clean as the day I bought it, so I began to wonder if had purchased something I didn't really need. The pic below makes me believe I made a good decision. Just thought I would share.

I can't seem to get an answer from anyone. I THINK I know the correct routing but does anyone have a for sure schematic for hose routing on a Maggie L99 car?

Also is there a different bracket for L99 and LS3 cars?

I'm not sure if the Routing would be any differant on a LS3 with a Maggie than a L99 with a Maggie, I think Chase can probably answer this question, As far as the Bracket goes, That is the only bracket they make for that catch can.
