Happened to me a couple times...sprayed WD40 on the track and where the seat belt attaches at the bottom...creak went away

yeah i have same problem.. only 1200 miles on my RS.. if its all the way back, it sounds like a popping/clicking loose sound... if i shift my weight back and forth (like rocking back n forth), i can hear it... its mainly heard on bumpy streets, or when i accelerate, or come to a quick stop.. i tried to push the seat foward just a tad today, and i didnt hear it... but im still taking it to the dealer, it should be doing that shit regardless on a brand new frickin car...

My car is 2 weeks old, 220 miles, it has a popping noise coming from underneath but no squeaking, I am 6'3, 200lbs..The seat is power, should I move it forward and see if it stops and if I take it back to the dealer will they have to remove the seat?...I hope not.

My dealer said the skeleton in the lower cushion broke. They are replacing it and the lower cushion under warranty.

My backseat creaks all the time. And the windows steam up. Any fix for this?

I can definitely understand your concern. The best thing to do is to take it to the dealership for diagnosis. They also should be able to run your VIN for any applicable warranties. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me via PM.

The popping in the drivers seat has disappeared on my ss after I adjusted the seat forward half and inch...

Just a follow up on mine...part still has yet to come in. The dealership is on top of it, but nothing from Chevy yet......

bought my SS with 6k miles....8500 on it now. 3 yr warranty is up....the seatbelt area is creaking more and more all the time....it is getting VERY annoying.
