I believe the stock outer diameter is 2.5 on the SS models. Not sure on the v6. If you have an aftermarket you need to just investigate what the dimensions are.

To be honest... that looks a little short. If you are using the same quad tips I did, I thought remembering you needed 11 inches after the muffler. You can check if you click on the link in the first post. You want to make sure you have enough clearance or they will stick out too far. As for me, I paid $100 bucks to have everything fabricated.

so I never ended up doing this mod. I would've had to change my current exhaust system and that was more trouble and more money than it was worth. I have the quad tips and 1LE diffuser for sale in Arizona if anyone is interested.
