As suggested, blow by blow instructions would be great.
Where did you get the paint and do you know if IOM is available??
Did you remove the insulation pad from underneath the cover to get more ventalation?

Yes, That is my shop. I am a professional painter. No rattle cans here IOM is available and I will do a step by step if thats what ya want but there will be steps that cant be done without the right tools. Atlhough it could be used as a guide

The paint is dupont chromabase, and the clearcoat is dupont hc-7776s
As for the rag, I am carefully wiping the red basecolor off of the raised chevrolet letters to let the silver show back through. And THANKS for the compliments everyone!

Did you use any product on the rag to wipe the letters clean?

What kind of time frame after paint do you do that in?

That engine cover is awesome. I've been thinking of doing that to mine. The factory cover is expensive and very blan. The plate with L99 on it from emblempros is the finishing touch. Thanks for sharing
