This would be a completely different bottom casting, so hopefully, the port alignment issues that were seen with the Hi-Rise Manifold won't be identically transferred to this intake too, but I guess only time will tell. If everything lines up good on the ports, I'm definitely interested in this for my own car.

I've got everything lined up. Should have numbers the middle of the week.

Changing up the original plans though. Now we are going to do a baseline, tune, intake swap, tune, then a 100 shot/tune.

I just got a Holley high rise installed and the ports are not off at all. My heads are ported and the intake ports are slightly smaller than the head ports. If heads weren't ported I think it would've been very close to perfect.

I used a Holley Stealth Ram years ago on an SBC. It was lined up well but intentionally a little small so it could be port matched.

I wonder if this mid rise manifold will hold up with TQ it's supposed to be set up like a dual plane.

I'm still holding out hope for the Vaporware that is the Vararam VR-X manifold...

If you look at pics 8 & 9 it becomes apparent that this is just a plenum bolted on to the top of a dual quad manifold. This ends up being a 3 piece manifold. This is the cathedral port version but it seems like it still makes nice power and the square port version will make more. Also notice this is a 5.3L with ported heads putting out mid 500HP numbers on an engine dyno. That would equal 400-450 on a chassis dyno in put cars with a 5.3L. So one could SWAG that with an LS3 you would at least be up 100HP.
