the dash does look plain over there, but i'm not sure tacking a badge on fixes it. I don't think 1st or 2nd gen's had badges there. IROC's did. That looked alright.

I will settle this for everyone it is a 1968 emblem. I had to cut off the rivots and smooth the back down...then simply cut and trimmed 3M nameplate repair tape.
Trimming the tape was the most time consuming part...

Got this on Ebay from the stickerwitch. They have 2 sizes for your dash. Will not stick on LS dash, only RS or SS. Will do custom work also.

You (those who want to put stuff there) should do what I did with my SS.. Its safer, looks almost the same, and its a sticker
