My 06 Eclipse GT had it to where you could slide the shifter over and shift, I loved it. I rarely drive using my paddle shifters in my SS, paddle shifters are over-rated.

I kind of have to agree with this. My auto 1LT RS has the paddle shifters and our 2008 Caddy SRX has the tiptronic (slide over then tap up/down) and I rarely use that function in either vehicle. Like the guy I quoted said, if I had wanted a manual I would have bought one.

paddle shifters for sure but... only if these were actual paddle shifters instead of buttons
