THAT would be awesome...
track the dude down, leave a note for him...

You could also correct his grammar and syntax which is fairly poor.

I know... I grew up with muscle cars of the 50s-60s, etc., when they were brand new. In those days, FYI... gasoline didn't have near the additives that it does now. It was only after "the government" started putting all the environmental crap in fuels and on cars, that Cats came to become mandatory equipment. As often happens, the government (aka "the people") became their own worst enemy.

And I really don't begrudge anyone from setting up their car the way they wish, but you have to realize that not everyone enjoys LOUD cars. Those people have their "rights" too and there are a lot more of them than "us" who can appreciate the sound of an awesome engine. Plus, in most states (if not all) OP's car is illegal. Like it or not, we have laws and really should obey them whenever possible - we would have a much better world if we did.

PS: I'm not hugging a tree as I type this. I think many of our environmental laws are, for the most part, strangling our economy. But they are the law.

Indydriver made a perfect analogy comparing this to issue to window rattling sub-woofers belting out the bullshit that some call music these days. And in many places, that too is illegal.

I personally love loud cars, but the reason I didn't get a full header setup and opted for just an axle back was because I didn't want to draw the negative attention of someone like this who put a note on your windshield. It's painful that I don't have a loud car, but more painful if worse happens to it.

Anything could've been worse but that don't change the stupidity of some ppl! Someone will always have a problem with what you do , so can't worry! As long as your car isn't hurting anybody than who cares! We have to deal with stuff that we don't like every day! It's life!

A typically expected response. Excuse me if logical conversation rubs you the wrong way. Guess you really told me.

Lots of people hate conflict, especially if they don't know how to manage it. In this case, I don't think the guy really had an argument to make face to face. I know if somebody came up to me talking about my exhaust, I would tell him to shut his d1xucker and tell it to someone who cares. Then would rev the engine and maybe do a burnout.

The guy is either trying to feel like he has a voice, which is the scenario you imply, and that does make him a bit of a pus. Or, he is trying to rent space in the OPs head (kind of like trolling on the internet).

Either way, not many people would confront someone about how they modified their personal property. I don't have the time of day for anyone that would.

This. Leaving a note like that on someone's car is pretty chicken chit... especially saying hey a-hole.

You guys are missing out, there is nothing in the world like the smell of cars running on alcohol(methanol) or higher octane fuels. Absolute best part of being in the dirt track racing world is walking down 2 rows of 40 staged IMCA Modifieds shaking the ground with open headers running on methanol or 110. Methonal is so rich coming out of the headers it'll make you cry if you stand there long enough.

True.
This note was written by someone other than a real man.
OR
It was written by a real man under duress....
But then again, even under duress, a real man would never write this, so again, This note was written by someone other than a real man.

Too bad Parks & Rec is still on hiatus, or we could consult with Ron Swanson.

That would help.

You do not contribute to most posts I've seen you comment on. Rather you choose to belittle and argue. I encourage logical conversation. Seems you'd rather stand on what you feel is righteous high ground and piss upon others.
