Nothing wrong with your opinion at all...we all have them

over priced?
for a car that gives $2.5 million and up exotics a run for their money, I think not.

You are right! No research goes into developing the leading flagship car of Chevy! You know the one that btw they also happen to race every now and then! BTW did you know where the mighty LS3 and all LS engines have debuted?

To OP:
Do what your heart desires but you're going to get lubed on the trade. I would rent a Camaro for an entire weekend and really get to know it to see if you really would rather have it over the Vette.

I agree, I have an 09 Z06 & my new Camaro ss/rs, I love both. I don't know what or where he got his Corvettes but none of my Corvettes and I've had 4 C6 models have any of the problems he states. I think both Chevrolet models are high quality cars and both reserve respect.

I have to chuckle at those people saying the Corvette is nothing special...it's absolutely in a whole 'nother class. Beyond even the C6.R, there's a LOT of innovation gone into the C6, that would probably surprise you.

I have yet to drive a Camaro...:( :(....but it's got a HIGH bar to reach before anybody fathoms to compare the performance of these two cars....interior, and 4 seats v. 2? That's a legitimate concern.

Love 'em both to death, I just wish I had the coin and space to buy both.

I just have to wonder, Sly2, the 09s are still "new", why did you buy one if there was even a hint of needing back seats? Cause you're probably going to take a hit on that, now.

All this Camaro VS Corvette BS but he never said what the dealer offered him! I could use another C6 to send to Lingenfelter.

Fun thread. Separates out those into cars for how they handle vs. other considerations.

Don't do it. No matter what reason, whether you're bored of the Vette, don't like the looks, don't like the maintainence, it will ALL come back to you and you'll wish you had the Vette back.

You are LITERALLY paying to DOWNGRADE your car.

My 2 cents.
