Kinda like a track suspension on a street car? certainly not necessary, but nice to have.
Especially since A LOT OF US track our cars...IF I was going to spend the $$ of a hellcat, just to be cool (because that is all it is good for IMHO), I would buy a Ferrari 360 coupe again, because like the 1LE, THAT IS A FANTASTIC CAR!

Define "a lot of us". Of the five SS's with the 1LE package owners that I know in my local area, NONE of them track their cars. They do show up at all the cruise-ins though. I think you will find a lot of people talk about tracking their cars, but very few of them do. I know from personal experience it is not a cheap thing to do.

Neither . 2016 ZO6 C7R . For the money you can't beat a Chevy . And as far as looks ,and performance the Vette is still the king .

No Hellcat for me, the 1LE rocks, and if I had to choose it would be a Z/28, ZO6 or ATS-V not necessarily in that order. The GT350R looks to have raised the bar for Mustang.

No one with a stock 1LE has a track suspension. True racing springs are 20X stiffer than OEM equivalents and there isn't a street car made today, not even the La Ferrari/P1/918 hyper-cars, that has a true track suspension.

What we have in the 1LE, is a real street suspension. Which is very very usable. 700HP, not so much. I was happy with 180HP in my previous fun car and even the 426 of the 1LE is too much.

The Hellcat, whether Challenger or Charger, is twice the car of the Camaro 1LE and a considerable upgrade to the ZL1. The Z28 is the only one that holds a candle to it, and that is only because it is a very good one-purpose car.

And I love my 1LE. Just sayin'
As long as you're not going around a corner... Twice the car... Really?!!! For a drag car sure, but to say otherwise is just plain ignorant... And before you get your panties in a wad, ignorant is not an insult, it means uninformed.

Not sure if I can help other than to say it is a matter of personal preference and how you plan on using the car. Drag racing......Hellcat all the way.....track racing I would prefer to stick with my ZL1......looks ... Camaro all the way.....Daily driver...Camaro...

Make a list of pros and cons and get a feel for the cars...then make your own decision....

Good luck and you will not go wrong if you chose what you like...

As far as trading, no thank you. I like all of the muscle cars, but I chose the 1LE for a reason. I checked out the 2015 Corvettes, but to me, they are no longer muscle cars; they compete with the supercars now. I enjoy the ride, performance and looks of my 1LE, and boy does she ever get a lot of looks. I would definitely take a Hellcat, but not over my 1LE. Now... offer me a 1967 Corvette 427 with 4 on the floor and see what happens :-)

Why does it matter how many "looks" you get? Is that something that is important to you? I assume so since you listed it with other aspect such as the ride and performance. Personally, I would never buy a car based on what other people might think of it.

Personally, if I were to buy one, the first thing I would do it remove the ugly black vinyl hood wrap, as I think it makes the car look cheap. Not a big fan of the black wheels, either, but I could at least live with them.

I have never heard before that the wrap looks cheap. It is very functional if you track the car.
