So I got to installing my 1.25" front setup and even though it doesn't sit as well as my 1" setup I am able to get it on the cushion, but I do experience the slip off your talking about. As soon as I release the spring, it'll slip off a little bit off of the cushion.

With my 1" springs the spring sits flush with about 1/2 of the cushion. With the 1.25" springs the spring sits flush with only about 1/4 of the cushion. The first pic is my 1" spring, second is the 1.25" spring.

BMR, will leaving the spring like that be fine?

Yea I did the same as you. The strut looks centered in the spring so I finished the install and took it out for a spin. Didn't hear or notice anything wrong, but I'm still waiting to see what BMR says about it before I go get an alignment.

So it seems like the lower the spring, the worse it sits on that yellow cushion....

I'm hoping they will address it tomorrow or sometime during the week. Given that it was the weekend, I didn't expect them to reply to the thread. If I don't hear anything by Tuesday or Wednesday, I'll PM them or shoot them an email.
