Yep, I did all the mods at the same time so it was real obvious going from stock manifolds/mufflers to headers/muffler delete.

Lol^. Muffler delete with stock manifold and cats actually sound really good. Not as loud as some would think. Just do it, it's cheap, and sounds just as good as most axel backs on the market today. In my opinion.

After reading this thread, I decided to do the muffler delete. Brought it to an exhaust shop yesterday and I am happy with the way it turned out (everything else is stock), not as loud as I thought it would be but I love the way it growls when I start it up. I haven't noticed excessive drone while at cruising speed....

Should be around $100. A lot of people get it done even cheaper like $60. But I got mine done for $100 but also bought quad tips that he welded on.

I paid $120 for mine which I thought was a decent price considering they cut the factory tips and used them on the new exhaust.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind paying $120, but I thought $220 was ridiculous. Glad I didn't do it.

I love mine , all stock except for delete. No drone what so ever and don't even hear it at cruising speed. Sometimes I even wish it was a little louder but not sure about it once headers go on.

Well not any longer ! They are at the point of being almost excessive imo. When I posted this on camaro5 a while back someone chimed in and said it was carbon build up. I don't disagree as i cannot think of anything else that cold cause the increase in sound.
