I know this post has been around a bit now but figured I'd give my update. My 1LE has recently had Kooks LT's, HF cats, Roto-Fab CAI installed and a tune done. They provided a difference in power and sounds immediately. Throttle response improved greatly and the car ran very strong as it continues to pull more and more. The sounds is just incredible combined with the NPP and fuse pull. The first hit on the dyno put down 395rwhp/400rwtq, after some minor adjustments on the tune, the second hit put down 403rwhp/410rwtq. There are obviously many variables with dyno runs and this day wasn't the best weather for it, from what my performance mechanic and tuner said, it would probably put down 410/420 in ideal weather. Again, it's not about the numbers, the car runs strong as hell and I highly recommend these mods.

Add a ported throttle body to complete your bolt-on package for even better throttle response and maybe a few extra ponies.

I've thought about that as my next mod to be honest. Recommendations?

Bo White, if he's still doing them. He was doing them a month or so back. Nice improvement to throttle response......maybe a few hp.

I have a VMax on mine and it made a noticeable improvement in throttle response. Be aware that you have to provide a core exchange deposit until they get your stock item in return. This is the easiest DIY project possible. Shipping your TB is harder than doing the swap.

Bo White PTB is a must, especially on a 1le. Makes shifting/rev matching so smooth. I believe in it so much I bought one for my good friend, told him; don't like it give back, I had the money I paid for it two days after he installed it.
