I'd say $59,900. minimum is about right.

Interesting to see so much controversy on this awesome 2010 Camaro! I personally believe that when it comes to Z28 sheer power, it should be a V8 and a class by it self. There’s so many Mods being done to these Camaros that it’s getting harder to tell the difference between them. At the same token, it wouldn’t be a bad idea if GM decides to do a V6 model for those who are interested in having a fuel efficient sports car like today. I own a 2LT V6 w/ M6 for many reason. But I also would buy a Z28 V8 Camaro only if it’s a class by it self.

I believe most who buy a Z want the tradition and looks of the Z. they may mess with the engine, but most would do very few changes to the look. Why buy a Z if you want to change it?

31k for the SS the ls9 (crateenginedepot.com) is 14k more then the ls3 so add 14k just for that at least. SO that would make it 45k for the ls9 instead of the ls3 then add in the upgrated other parts. and time to tune. . . I can see 50k reasonable.

That's an oxymoron...all opinions are biased, that's why it's called an opinion and not a fact.

I thought LS9 was $20K more?
Plus 6 piston brakes
Plus Recaro (or other name) seats
Plus crazy suspension upgrade
Plus upgraded rearend
Plus upgraded trans
Plus forged wheels
Plus even better speed rated tires
a full 2SS++++++++ interior
Plus probably a little carbon fibre (for LS9 family resemblance)
etc etc etc.....................
Remember the LS9 is the most powerful engine GM has ever offered in a production car. That being said it's going only in a very special (all toys included) car (ex. ZR1).
OK now it's $65K.

go to crateenginedepot.com msrp is 29k for the ls9 they are selling it for 21k. the lsa is 20k for msrp they are selling it 14k. they are selling the ls3 (msrp is higher) for 6100.00. that's where I came up with 14k difference for the engines. as for the other mods you are looking at those might not be added. . .but if a base Z28 is based of the base SS then 31k is the starting price plus 14 for the engine etc etc etc.

If they use the LS9 it will be fully loaded. Not much reason to worry about weight.
