The GM site clearly stated that there would be MANY individual options available..... probably not everything everyone wants...... but MANY.

Well, the fact it takes them 18 months to put a HUD on the thing (Probably must be a 2011 model by then) is puzzling. That's like waiting a year for an arm rest or cupholder.

yes options are exciting, but will we beable to get every option on whatever model we want? Or will SS beable to get options that V6 cant?

This is what scares me.

Most everything says available on select models.

I have the same feelings. I dont want leather but I want the lighting inside, I just hope the 4 gauges come standard and ill take an RS.

The Bluetooth sign was on the steering wheel, so that probably means bluetooth is going to be an option then.......

Hopefully, they will solve that puzzle, it would inspire me to buy a package that I otherwise might not need.

Obviously some things will have to come in packages.... I really hope that GM resists the urge to limit too many things.... especially if we ORDER the car, that could be the key:

IF they would make everything available by special order.

I want the interior lighting but I can NOT justify leather seats with extreme heat AND icy weather. Unless you get the remote start with auto and a/c so you can cool the car off for 10 minutes before getting in.

I just want my V6/RS to have every option that i want.. I would be very upset if they didnt offer the boston acoustics sound system for the V6 or the steering wheels with controls, or whatever else it may be that i want..

I dont care if i have to get packages, just as long as i get what i want.....

now if they had a sun and sound package, where you have to get the sunroof with the premium sound, that would set me off! I love the reverse mohawk

The 2002 Z/28 required a BIG $$$ option package just to get cruise control... I think it was over $2000, it came with cool stuff most of which I wanted, but most I did not need.
HUD, Boston Acoustics, the INT lighting pkg, steering wheel controls for ipod, the list gets longer, I feel the $pain$ coming. I may have to get the V6 so I can get ALL the other options... and get the Z/28 when they EVENTUALLY offer it.

Steering Wheel controls and upgraded sound were available on the 4th Gen V6's. I have no doubt it will be available for the 5th.

LOL I'm hoping for a 'Sun and Sound' package. I want both the Boston Acoustics and a Sunroof, so I wanna save a few bucks with a package.

Well maybe they will offer a package but hopefully let you get them seperately as well..

I hope that because im ordering my car, i will beable to get exactly what i want..

Oh, I agree with you. You should be able to get them separately as well. I'm just hoping I can save a few $$'s and get them packaged together.

Maybe Sunroof, BA Sound and Steering Wheel Controls as one package.

I'd think the USB would be standard along with the Aux. Jack.

How can validation and politics stop them from using the most basci color paint? It's not like this is Chroma shifting experimental paint.... it's WHITE?

The other thing that bugs me is they went through the trouble of telling us that the HUD is 18 months away. So, now I have to decide if I can WAIT that long to get it. If they didn't SAY anything about it then I would have bought one sooner rather than waiting for the options I want to be available!
