Geez, it's comments like this that gives muscle car owners a bad name... NOT because of any shortcomings of the Challenger.:bangdesk:

I don't think he's a troll, he's been posting a lot of questions on a Challenger forum (the "Z"), just trying to pick a car.

Nobody needs to convince you to buy a Camaro. Buy what you want. When I bought my Camaro, I sure didn't go to Challenger or Mustang forums asking them to convince me to buy their favorite, I bought MY favorite and couldn't have been talked out of it. I am and have been a Camaro loyalist since 1985 and haven't looked back.

I was looking for a Chally SRT8 for almost 2 years, I was not going to to pay the ridiculous prices gouging that was and most likely still is happening.
Wanted a Camaro from the get go, just took so long to go from concept to reality. Thank god Dodge was price gouging on the Chally!!! It appears you have made your choice, I am sure there is a discussion forum for the Chally somewhere. My experience, Mike

I personally like the exterior of a challenger but I hate that dodge didn't do anything really different to the interior I think it looks the same as other dodge vehicles ... As for the mustang I just don't think it compares anymore there are thousands of them on the road and neleive me I've wanted a mustang since I was 5 however as soon as I saw this camaro I fell head over hills in love it's the best looking and most power full of the others and is just awesome

There really isnt much more to say than has already been said.. but I will add my own thoughts.
I think the Challenger looks great, but has ONE HUGE PROBLEM.... It is a CROSS DRESSER Under neath that pretty little dress, isn't what you think...... Underneath the sheet metal, the challenger is just an overpriced Charger... 300... and Magnum. You can tell by the interior too. As nice as the Challenger looks... I just couldnt see paying soooo much more money than a Charger/Magnum/300... JUST to get a different set of sheet metal. That was a huge deal breaker for me. (not to mention I was in love with Camaro concept at first sight) I have never driven a Challenger, but would like to. Even still... Like everybody else said... dollar for dollar... you are getting 100 times more if you buy the Camaro. There are 2 reasons for buying a car.... 1. You like what it does (performance, handling, etc, etc) or 2. You like how it looks (style, color, brand, bandwagon, etc, etc) If you want a "muscle car" because it does what a muscle car does... you really cant argue with the Camaro. If you want a "muscle car" because its pretty, and gets you attention.... then get whatever makes your pants tingle the most
