On my round trip through the Snake on Monday, it was a total of 46 miles, from Johnson City, to Elizabethton, to Shady Valley through the Snake using mostly 2nd and 3rd gear for about 14 miles of spirited driving, To Mountian City, back to Elizabethton then back home to Johnson City.. For the entire trip I averaged 22MPG.

If you minimize break usage and shift early and shift high to keep the engine RPM as low as possible, and accelerate very slowly all the time, you will vastly improve city mileage.

I get about 18-19mpg. that's all city driving. I RARELY go on the freeway. The one 3 hour trip I did take, i got 28mpg going 75mph pretty much the whole way. Oh, and that was all stock. I'll be doing the same trip the first weekend of august, so i'll check then with my intake/headers/exhaust.

Awesome, I can't wait to see what MPG differences all those mods made.
Do you also have a tune?
