Are any of these cams comatible with a maggie s/c in the future. I'd like to do a cam now and maggie later. I have no problem with driving at over 1200 rpm to not lug the engine too much. But I would like to make as much power as possible before the s/c since it'll be a while for that. thanks guys for the info.

Actually I am thinking about doing the L99 Cam Performance package. I am thinking maybe the 1C will work. I little lope is fine with me.

I'll be in touch.

the 2c is a great blower cam and is fantastic on drivability, it can be down below 1200 for that matter

no problem, the 1c is in our shop G8 GXP, now it's a manual car, but we purposely wanted something extremely stealthy for it, something that could be driving by anyone no matter what purpose they were using it for.

The 2C works excellent with the Maggie. We did an LS3 car with this cam, Kooks full exhaust, and Rotofab and made 460 RWHP N/A. We did another LS3 car with these mods and a Maggie and made 630 RWHP.

Oh yeah! That's what I'm talking about. How much for the cam kit?
BTW I'm in Tx and plan on doing my own install.

Thanks for the PM. We'll be in touch shortly. My only concern with the install since I plan on doing it myself is the proper degreeing of the cam I've replaced cams plenty of times but it's always been stock for stock never for high performance. Any advice on this? Thanks again

You could use our Stinger Cam 224/232 or our Spyder Cam 228/236 Camshafts for stock like drivability and make 450rwhp easily. You Could also use our 232/242 LS3 Lethal for big top end power and low end torque. That cam drives great as well and it becoming very popular here at the shop.

Andy,

What's your thoughts on a 226/238 .570/.585 113.5LSA?

as a general rule we don't use anything tighter then a 114, without knowing more about the cam it would be difficult to properly review it, but i think that it would have drivability similar to our 2r-max even though it is smaller in specs, and my guess is it would make about 10-15 hp less than our 2r-max.

As for the cam, I would recommend our 2c cam. 224/236 .612/.612 117LSA we just finished up another customers LS3 car with this cam and it could be lugged down at around 600 rpm with no bucking. Now it is a cam intended for FI but he still picked up over 80 rwhp over stock (including headers, intake, exhaust and intake/head work) without the headwork I would still have imagined around 60-65 rwhp which is phenomenal for a mild cam like that.
And how much are you doing that cam for just by itself.

when you say "just by itself" are you referring to cost involved for the cam itself? or with labor but now headers/CAI? or are you referring to power increase with stock exhaust?

How much for just the that cam and the install. I will do the other stuff myself but I don't mess with cams for the simple reason of the trickyness involved with greasing it right and fit it correctly..
