Horse power numbers generally refer to horsepower produced at the crank. When somebody states "rear wheel" horsepower they are speaking about how much power is actually going to the rear wheels. For example. My SS is rated at 426 horsepower. But really at the rear wheels it's probaly only 370.

SSooch - you do know that gasoline and gasoline fumes are very bad for sensitive skin, right?
