There is a version of this car with "night vision"!? Awesome! Hehehe Just teasing... I thought the wording was funny.

Be grateful...in NY it's 70%... Honestly....what's the point in tinting at that percentage (other then UV protection)...barely even notice it visually.

This may be a stupid question, but does putting tint on the windshield affect the HUD?

thanks

thanks! definitely going to look into doing some tint. Aside from looking , it helps preserve the dash and rear window deck from harmful rays, fer shure!!. Hate when you see a car with a narley dash that's all cracked and dried out. eeewwwww!

I did 20% in back and 35% in front, to stay legal, and I have no problems seeing. I could have gone darker in back legally but I didn't want too much contrast and I fear impairing the already impaired back vision. But I love the way mine looks. Great combo of style and practicality.

I got limo tint on the rear windows and 35% on the fronts (driver and passenger). I can see fine during the day. At night it is a bit darker, but I like it, as those headlights in the rear no longer bother me.

The HUD is a reflection on the windshield... if anything, it will get better.

I need to see proof of that. The windshield is specially designed for HUD...The label in the corner of the windshield even says "HUD". I'm on a Bonneville forum, and people with HUD that have had their windshield replaced with generic versions say the projected image is ghosted. Tint might do the same thing.
