I didn't do a complete check but ours actually is the only one , or one of the few that actually utilizes a cnc billet velocity stack. That is one reason it makes this type of power. These types of design elements are key factors in this intake that allow us to make more power. These are just benefits of having a great engineering staff. We at Lsr owe our great product development to them.

The intake makes power because of a large, high flowing air filter and a massive, straight shot inlet pipe

"Absolutely requires a tune" and the design has an open top that seals to the hood "as good as it can"??? No Thanks.

A tune maximizes the effectiveness of this kit. In the end it brings great amount of hp to the end user. We studied other CAI on the market and decided that they way we seal to the hood would be a benefit to the customer. I think our peak hp numbers show that our design is effective. On a side note i like the color of your car.

Did some fitment test on a 6 speed 2ss with a Magnuson sc and found out that our kit will fit it. It will still require a tune. this is another way to get more power out of that sc with changing a pulley.
