I know right? I would buy them just cuz they look cool. I wonder if they make the exhaust louder?

I went with the DT shorties, and they made a decent change in sound and added some low end feel to the car.

As I posted long ago, the BBK stainless steel shorties I installed on my LS3 Camaro made a SOP difference in the 3K to 6K rpm range. The tone was slightly deeper with the BBK shorties than the stock exhaust manifolds. This was through the stock, 4 - 600 cel cats midpipes. For a short time I installed JBA midpipes with 2 - 200 cel cats in place of the, 4 - 600 cel cats stock midpipes behind the BBK shorties and again there was another SOP increase in power from 3K to 6K rpm range AND a louder exhaust note. Car was never dynoed so how much the SOP difference was in numbers I cannot say but it was noticable. Upside is the shorties with or without the JBA or Solo high flow midpipes seem to run CEL free for 99% of the folks thus not requiring a tune although I'm sure a tune would net further gains. I've since gone to ARH LT's and HF cats and to be honest, cannot discern much of a difference in the SOP feel over my current setup and when I ran BBK shorties and JBA HF mid pipes, both in untuned states. I'm sure a dyno would tip the scales to the LT's by a decent margin, I'm just reporting what my butt meter feels. No doubt tuned LT's with HF cats will out run shorties with HF cats.

The dyno curve has disappeared, but the second post shows the loss of shorty headers on the car.
