I just want to be able to wink
and the car dim the lights automatically! And maybe this wink feature could be integrated into my Armadillo Helmet. Is this too much to ask?

I bet there is a "clapper".....clap on for brights, clap off for low beams!! That definitely belongs in the 21st Century Car!

It might....I dunno (it was a total guess
). My Cobalt is how I described...and judging by some pictures of that left stalk...it seems to indicate the same thing.

I'd be glad to see that GM is evaluating the controls based on ease of use, not just the way things have always been done. Case in point, cruise controls on the steering wheel (although I didn't want buttons on my steering wheel ).- Xanthos

I think that most cars are going to the `pull to blink, push to stay on` method. I can remember on my old 84 suburban and a 92 GMC truck that those were the only parts to break for me when it was `pull farther back to switch`. Maybe I just pulled back to hard or something, but the little plastic clip inside the column broke.

I thought I was the only one that missed that feature...loved it on the floor. Was like a secret button and I was 007. |
