Parking sucks, I constantly park in small parking lots that are packed so I do a couple of things,never park next to a shit box or a car that is dinged up,either they didn't care to begin with or don't care anymore,I park next to the nicest cars I can, people that take care of their cars are in the same boat as you, If a person is in their car or getting out of it I check them out, if they are large so they have to open the door REAL WIDE stay away, if they have kids with them stay away, If I park next to someone when I get out I glance in the windows, if the car is a mess inside, I move. If someone pulls up next to me I do something to let them know I'm here don't hit my car and wait for them to get out . It all sucks to do but door dings are worst than the extra effort ,getting keyed would be an instant flip-out moment. I always glance down the sides of my car getting in just in case something happens I may figure out who did it, once you leave it's to late. Before the Camaro I had a CTS, crew cab dually and two hummers, the CTS got one ding and I almost cried, now that I spoke my mind you know what's gonna happen.
