Nice job 2ssrs!

So if just take off the antenna and replace it with a painted plug, would there be any problems or anything? (Water leak, radio not working..)

I figure the XM just wouldn't work, but I know nothing about these types of things so dunno??

I believe you lose XM, OnStar and your compass.

I was offline working on 2 sets of tail light and some things, but like nomad said, and one more thing you lose your compass, That is part of the GPS in the antenna.

The car looks sooooo much better with no antenna, something to put on my to do list.

Could you tell me where you got the SS badge on the back of your car?

TIA

Thanks for this thread, I have been looking for a way to get rid of that ugly fin, and you solved it. One question, would it have been easier and just as successful to relocate the antena inside and above the tailight? Or is the metal going to interfer with reception?

Bump

Is it possible to leave the antenna inside the roof instead of completely rerouting it? Hmmm or is it too large...

There's a metal piece in the fin that goes all the way to the top.
